Puttur: Four held or illegally using explosive materials, manufacturing firecrackers

Puttur, Dec 24: Puttur rural police station sub inspector and personnel took four men into custody on Monday, December 23.

They have been accused of illegally making firecrackers by using explosive materials.

The accused who were arrested at Madyala Majalu, Mudnoor village, Nettanige in the taluk are Narendra alias Babu, T Babu, T Kali Raj and M Kamala Kannan.

A case under Indian Penal Code section 286 and 98(A) Explosives Act 1984 stands registered in the rural police station here in this connection.
