Mangaluru, Dec 24: Christmas is about love, sharing and caring. With this in mind, Mount Carmel Central School celebrated Christmas with a difference on December 23 and the special invitees were the students of neighbouring Infant Jesus Kannada Primary School.

The programme hosted by classes VI A and B commenced with a prayer service. A beautiful Hindi dance drama depicting the birth of Jesus Christ sensitized the hearts of the students. The melodious budding singers sang carols in different languages. The incredible dances related to the birth of Jesus Christ held everyone in a festive mood. The students dancing to the classical tune of 'Dashing through the snow' was indeed very catchy.

A special dance related to Christmas, performed by the students of Infant Jesus kept the audience spell-bound.

The real joy was on the arrival of Santa, who distributed gifts to the students of Infant Jesus Higher Primary School which were sponsored by the students of class VI A and VI B. This sharing added meaning to the essence of Christmas.

The vice-principal, Sr Lidwyn Pinto appreciated the students for their efforts in putting up a meaningful and lively programme. She also thanked the students of Infant Jesus School for their involvement and wished everyone a happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year 2020. Christmas cake was distributed to all.
