Konkani music video ‘Voch Mhaka Sanddun’ to release on Jan 1, 2020

Dubai, Dec 24: At the start of the new decade of 2020, Konkani music lovers will witness the directorial debut of the dynamic duo Jostin and Roystan, with their scintillating Konkani music video ‘Voch Mhaka Sanddun’ which stars some of the best and upcoming talents of Konkani. The music video stars Jenifer D’Souza, Aenson Mathias and Eden D’Sa.

The song, ‘Voch Mhaka Sanddun’ is from Nelson Mathias Pernal’s latest hit album, ‘Vengenth Moga’. Composed and tuned by Nelson Mathias himself, heart touching lyrics are rendered by Lloyd Rego along with melodious music from Roshan D’Souza Angelore. The album is a collection of mesmerizing romantic melodies which was released on the September 8, 2019, and has already won many hearts in the Konkani community.

Nelson Mathias is a passionate composer and singer who has already delivered best tunes to the Konkani music world in his popular albums like ‘Yo Moga’, ‘Tunch Moga’, and ‘Mhojea Moga’. His recent addition to the collection, ‘Vengeth Moga’, has captured audience’s attention and appreciation. He has now created his YouTube channel ‘Moga Series’, which will constantly feature new compositions. When asked what inspires him to release new music in Konkani although it is not very profitable, he said, “It is my passion to try something new every time I sit with my piano. There is no dead-end. I will continue to work hard to make myself and people who believe in my work, happy.

Jenifer D’Souza, who features in the music video has already acted in few of Konkani movies has already gained popularity for her work. “It was more of a fun working with a great team and I never felt there is actually a music video being shot. I enjoyed it all throughout and I am grateful that it has helped in bringing out the best in me,” Jennifer told when asked about her experience shooting the video.

Aenson Mathias, GVOM 2018 (Gulf Voice of Mangalore) runner-up, has already garnered accolades for his voice. When asked his experience as an actor he says, “I am new, but that is not an excuse. I love Konkani music and acting in a video song was quite a unique experience. I will continue my efforts and hard work until my people are happy. I am not perfect and I am trying my level best to improve from every feedback that I get from my work.”

Eden Andria D'Sa who resides in KSA is the one to watch for. She has lent her voice in albums like ‘Udi Udi’, and ‘Ek Geeth’ and has performed in concerts. She is an accomplished dancer, an effective event manager and a compere.

Jostin D’Sa & Roystan D’Souza from Kolalgiri and Bolkunje parishes respectively are the young blood who call themselves amateur filmmakers, “We are new, not professionals, we have limited experience working as directors and cinematographers. And, we love filmmaking, learning every day from the experts around us and continuously unleashing our creativity and bringing out something new in the community. It is a blessing from the almighty and we have to nurture it further to bring out the best. This song is shot around amazing and picturesque locations in the Gulf,” the duo said about their directorial debut ‘Voch Mhaka Sanddun’. Both Jostin and Roystan are grateful to Nelson Mathias for the opportunity and Aenson Mathias, Jenifer D’Souza & Eden D’Sa for their continuous support all throughout the video
shooting. They also thank and appreciate all the well-wishers and supporters who have extended their help in making their dreams come true.
