Withdrawal of ex-gratia to Mangaluru police firing victims wrong - Sasikanth Senthil

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Dec 27: Former deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district and IAS officer Sasikanth Senthil has expressed extreme unhappiness over the violence and loss of lives in the protest against CAA that occurred in Mangaluru on December 19.

"The police firing that took the lives of two people in the anti-CAA protest is very unfortunate. In addition, the decision of announcing and withdrawing the compensation to the families of the victims is bad decision of BJP government. It has targeted and decided to take back the compensation," said Sasikanth Senthil expressing his rage against the state BJP government.

Continuing his opinion, Sasikanth further said, "CAA and NRC are against poor people of the country. The country will get divided if these acts are implemented. People of poor and middle class will get severely affected due to the implementation of these acts. There is no need for the country of these acts in the present scenario."

Sasikanth Senthil had resigned from the position of deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district in September of this year citing that the present political situation in the country is not proper. The democratic system of the country is getting worse and it is not possible for him to continue as DC under such circumstances.

I feel very sorry to this former DC. He shouldn't have left the secured job. He shouldn't have listened to bad. He shouldn't have seen bad, He shouldn't have talked bad. Just work life time and get benefits from govt. But now everything lost.

He is concerned with innocent people. He can only give the correct and truthful guidance to the people exploted by division of society and particularly no. 1 explointing other 3 division in the name of God. Now they are desperate as they lost their power in the hands of common man. And in due course all people know and analyze holiness and fear in the name of holiness
