Mangaluru: Many parts of coastal Karnataka experience thunder showers

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Dec 29: Some parts of coastal Karnataka experienced rain coupled with lightning and thunder late evening on Saturday December 28. The rain brought some respite from sweltering heat.

The city experienced cloudy, hot weather since morning. At night, rain with thunder and lightning made an appearance. Bantwal and surrounding places experienced showers. Hebri, Moodbidri, Beltangady, Dharmasthala, Ujire, Guthigar, Sullia, Puttur and Bellare areas got rain accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Power went off at Hebri after heavy rains lashed the area. Some parts in Mangaluru and Moodbidri got some rain with lightning at around 8 pm. As the average time of rain was around 30 minutes, no major problems occurred nor were any losses reported.

The coastal belt as a whole is yet to experience winter as the climate remains hot except for a temporary reprieve provided by this rain.

    Jesus on 'this warming trend'

    Message to John Leary

Thursday, December 13, 2018: (St. Lucy)...

Jesus said: “My people, you have researched the cause of this warming trend. It is your polar shifts with a decrease in the strength of the magnetism of your magnetosphere, that is allowing more heat from the sun to warm the earth. This is contrary to your carbon dioxide theories which do not correlate. This warming trend is heating up your oceans and it is causing more severe hurricanes and tornadoes. It is also melting your polar ice caps. Pray that this loss of magnetism will return to normal, or this polar shift will get worse.”...

"The city experienced cloudy, hot weather since morning."
    Weather pattern has changed drastically.
I remember those days (70s-80s) we used to shiver going to midnight mass and now a days people sweat due to scorching heat and humidity. Thank God, rains brought some respite. Following the scanty rain, the humidity might rise today.

It rained well in Kirem & Kinnigoli last night for about 35-40 minutes.
Either we failed to read the IMD forecastes or IMD to forecaste, may be due to the curfews.
Keep raining for next couple of days.
