Bunts Sangh Aims to Strive for Community’s Prosperity - Aikala Harish Shetty

The 81st annual general body meeting of Bunts Sangh was held at Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East), here on Monday September 21.  The meeting was chaired by president Aikala Harish Shetty.
 


Harish Shetty, in his presidential address, said that Sangh is like a temple while every member is expected to do his duty as worship. The sangh has the objective to strive for community’s prosperity, he said.
 
Sangh vice-president and chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, education and community welfare president Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, joint secretary Harish Vasu Shetty, joint treasurer chartered accountant Satish Shetty, women wing president Asha M Hegde and youth wing president Gautham Shetty were present.
 
Sangh members Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, Shantaram B Shetty and Premanath Shetty Mundkoor were honoured with gold medals for enrolling members in high numbers.  Community students who bagged highest marks in SSC and HSC were also honoured on the occasion.
 
Sangh veteran leader M D Shetty, trustees Sudhakar Hegde, B Vivek Shetty, M D Shetty, Ravindra Urs, Anand M Shetty, Bunts Association president lawyer Ashok D Shetty, Mulund Bunts president Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty, Anand Shetty of JAVAB and AHAR president Narayan among others were present.
