Mumbai, Sep 23: The metro-based Sadanand Suvarna Samskrutika Pratishtana organized drawing competitions for the school students as part of annual Karantotsav – 2009 at Karnataka Sangh mini-hall, Matunga (West), here on Sunday September 20.
 


Renowned teacher and litterateur B S Kurkal inaugurated the drawing competitions. Pratishtana Karantotsav committee secretary S K Sundar, members Gopal Trasi, treasurer and professor Shiva Billava among others were present.
 
The condolences were offered on the recent sad demise of metro’s renowned Kannada activist, philanthropist and correspondent of Adishakti Kannada Medium School, Majiwada, Thane district, Uluruguttu Vaman Shetty during the programme.
