Moodbidri, Sep 25: Jeevan Jyoti camp for SSLC students under the deanery was held at Our Lady of Rosary parish, Alangar here from Sunday September 20 to Wednesday September 23.
The camp was held to inspire the community students to excel in their communication skills and share comradeship besides develop leadership qualities. More than 160 students from 13 parishes under Moodbidri deanery attended the camp.
Vamadapadav Infant Jesus parish priest Fr Abel Lobo and Hosabettu Holy Cross parish priest Fr Assisi Rebello were the resource persons.
The valedictory function was held on Wednesday September 23 evening and attended by the parish priests of all parishes under the deanery, in order to make the event meaningful. Alangar parish council vice-president Clifford Aranha was the chief guest.
