Tulu Limerick Poets’ Meet Held at Billava Bhavan

Mumbai, Sep 28: A Tulu limerick poets’ meet was held at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (East), here on Saturday September 26 under the aegis of Kannada Sahitya Parishad (KSP), Maharashtra unit, Billava Association and Tulu Sahitya Academy, Mangalore.
 


Veteran playwright and poet Sa Daya (Dayanand Salian) presided over the programme. Veteran litterateur and poet Dr K Sanjeev Shetty was the chief guest.

KSP, Maharastra unit president H B L Rao delivered the introductory address. Kodu Bhoja Shetty, B S Kurkal, Dr Sunitha M Shetty, Shimunje Parari, Ramamohan Shetty Balkunje, M B Kukyan, Dr Karunakar Shetty, Gangadar Paniyoor, Sujatha Shetty, Ashok Pakkala, Harish Hejamady and Laxminarayan Rai Harekala among others participated in the meet.
