Gurugram, Jan 12 (IANS): A Class 8 student was allegedly sodomised by a bouncer at an upscale residential society in Gurugram's Sector 56 on Friday, said police.

The incident happened on Friday when the victim, who lives along with his family at a flat on the fifth floor of the building, went to the ground floor for an evening walk. After seeing security guards who were using heater to warm themselves, the teenager sat next to them for a while. Meanwhile, the accused, identified as Amit Kumar, staying on the eighth floor of the same building, joined them.

"When the victim was returning to his flat using stairs, Kumar followed him and intercepted him on the third floor using the lift. The accused dragged him inside the lift, took him to his flat on the eighth floor and sodomised him," said Sumit Kumar, SHO, Sector 56 police station.

However, the victim managed to free himself and returned to his flat and narrated his ordeal to his parents. However, the accused managed to escape from the residential society before the police arrived," the SHO said.

"We have scanned the CCTV footage and recorded the statements of security guards of the society," the officer said.

"We have registered an FIR against Amit Kumar. Efforts are on to nab the accused," he added.
