Mangalore: CLC India National Assembly on at Ranipura

Mangalore, Sep 29: The CLC India National Assembly was inaugurated at Ryshivana, Ranipura, which comes under the diocese, here on Sunday September 27.
 
Diocesan vicar general Fr Denis Prabhu conducted the Eucharistic celebrations at Our Lady the Queen of Universe Church, Ranipura, here at 4.00 pm on Sunday. 
 
Fr Prabhu also inaugurated CLC India National Assembly later at the church. CLC India president Igi D’Souza presided over the programme.
 
CLC India ecclesial vice-assistant Fr Luke Rodrigues, Fr J B Crasta, secretary, Diocesan Commission for Lay Faithful, Sr Dephne, co-ordinator, Vamanjoor Dharma Jyothi Society, and district Congress committee vice-president Ivan D’Souza, were the guests of honour on the occasion.
 
Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza will celebrate Thanksgiving Mass at Ranipura Church here at 6.00 pm on Thursday October 1.
 
The valedictory ceremony will be held at 7.00 pm on Friday October 2 with the Bishop presiding.
 
Igi D’Souza, Fr Luke Rodrigues, Sr M Michelle, director, Jeevan Dhara Social Service Society, Mangalore south deanery vicar Fr Andrew D’Souza, and Konkani Prachar Sanchalan president Roy Castelino will be the guests of honour.

    C.L.C National Assembly was inaugurated at Ryshivana, Ranipura. I was present to the eucharistic celebration followed by inaugural function where in i was inspired by the spokers who highlighted the importance of the C.L.C in todays context. C.L.C - Christian Life Community, rendering service to the children, youth and christian community at large. C.L.C is very active at Mangalore diocese involved in various programmes and spreading god's message through their very servicein sharing their talents and inspiration. C.L.C spread all over the world through the guidance of Mother Mary the great guide and inspiration.I feel happy that all the C.L.C members or apostles who strive to bring goodnews alive. They work hard to bring peace, harmony and build good christian community in the hearts of the childrn and youth.I personally take this atmost opportunity to congratulate all the C.L.C organisers, programmes conductors, planners, and participants. I personally experienced, listened and felt the marvellous works done by the C.L.C members. I pray for all the members who have taken greater steps and efforts in building good christian community in the society. May Mother Mary guard and protect every one. May Jesus lead his disciples in spreading the message of goodnews at large. All the best to everyone. May you have grant success in all that you do and render.
