Ravinder Raina elected BJP president in J&K


New Delhi, Jan 15 (IANS): Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravinder Raina was elected the party president for Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

He was nominated as party president in the erstwhile state in May 2018 and now after the organisational elections of the party it has been decided to make him the party chief in the newly constituted Union Territory.

P. Muralidhar, the election supervisor during the organisational elections and the party's national General Secretary, said: "I congratulate Ravinder Raina for being elected as the party's president for J&K. I am confident that under his leadership, the BJP will achieve new heights of success."
