Padubidri: ‘Vaidya Rathna Award’ for Ayurveda Practitioner Dr Narayana Anchan

Ayurveda specialist Dr Narayana T Anchan has been selected for the ‘Vaidya Rathna Award’ for 2009, promoted by Ranga Samaja Samsthe, Bangalore.



Dr Anchan will be presented the award on Sunday October 4 at the programme ‘Vaidyaradhane-2009’, which marks the organization’s seventh year, in Bangalore.  
 
Dr Anchan has engaged in several social service projects over the past many years.

His Ayurvedic firm is GMP-certified and is known as ‘Anchan Ayurvedic Industries’. It distributes 220 Ayurvedic products to Ayurveda doctors, hospitals, and also researchers.
 
Dr Anchan was honoured as ‘Nirmana Praveena’ by Vishshwesha Theertha Swami of Pejavar Math and has also bagged several awards and honours including the ‘Kamala Patra’ award by Jaycees International.
 
He is an active member in many social organizations as well.
