Beltangady: Woman accuses government hospital dentist of sexual harassment

Beltangady, Jan 30: A woman has filed complaint in the police station here, alleging sexual harassment during her visit to the government hospital here.

The woman had visited the government hospital here between 10.15 am and 10.45 am on Wednesday, January 29, for getting treatment for her dental problems. The then government dentist on duty, Dr Sudhakar, who examined the lady in room No. 36 of the hospital reportedly indulged in sexual harassment even as he continued to treat her dental condition.

On the basis of complaint filed, the police registered case under section 354 and 354 A (1)(1) of Indian Penal Code, arrested the accused and produced him in the court here.
