Twitterati pays homage to Mahatma on his death anniversary


New Delhi, Jan 30 (IANS): On the 72nd death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Twitterati tweeted tributes to the father of the nation.

The nation paid homage to Gandhi on his martyrdom day when he was assassinated on January 30, 1948. Netizens remembered Bapu, tweeting in fond memory of the face of India's independence struggle.

A user @Aritra2002 wrote: "Humble tributes to the Father of our Nation, #MahatmaGandhi on his death anniversary. His life based on principles of Truth, Non-violence and Compassion should be our guiding light."
