Sonia's condition showing signs of improvement: Doctors


New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS): Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here on Sunday following stomach infection, is currently stable and showing signs of improvement, doctors saod on Tuesday.

In a health bulletin, Dr D.S Rana of the hospital said, "Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to SGRH on February 2, 2020 was diagnosed to be suffering from stomach infection. There is an improvement in her Acondition and she is stable."

Gandhi was admitted in the hospital on Sunday after she complained of "uneasiness". The Congress chief was supposed to address a public meeting in the election-bound Delhi's Shastri Nagar area on February 5, but following her illness, it seems unlikley. However, there is no official word.
