Bantwal: ‘Create more awareness about ulterior motives of RSS, BJP’ - Mahendra Kumar

Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Feb 8: "RSS and BJP believe that hating Muslims and Pakistan is real patriotism. Similarly, some people think that criticizing RSS and BJP is patriotism. This thinking is not right. Only when we create awareness about RSS and BJP in the society and build a prosperous, harmonious and united India, will be real patriotism," opined thinker Mahendra Kumar.

Kumar was speaking at the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), anti-National Registry of Citizens (NRC) and anti-National Population Register (NPR) protest meeting that was organized by the Committee against CAA Farangipet on Friday, February 87 at the Sultan Maidan of Farangipet.

Mahendra further said, "Our fight and movement should not be limited to only CAA, NRC and NPR. These acts which are formed by one or two people should not be implemented. The people of this country will not allow the implementation of these acts. Today, the administration of this country has gone into the hands of vested interests who do not love this country, who grab the resources of the country and distribute it to private entities and those who have the mindset of demolishing the country on religious lines.

"All of us have to analyze who is responsible for this situation which is very alarming. Therefore, we should not indulge in instigating the emotions of people through vociferous speeches. Instead, we should make the public know the ulterior motives of RSS and BJP,” he said.

Thinker Bhavya Narasimha Murthy said, “The implementation of CAA and NRC amounts to violence against mother India.

“Jai Shah, son of union home minister Amit Shah is earning in crores in his business. He gets elected to BCCI even though he did not play for the country even for a day. Police have shot people who protested against Citizenship Amendment Act after listening to the speech by Amit Shah and sent them to jail. Their future and that of their families has become uncertain. People belonging to backward class who lose their way listening to the speeches by RSS and BJP should understand it,” she said.

“The youth in India are confused and agree to what the government does. If not, they are labelled traitors who belong to Tukde Tukde gang. While some of them are speaking against it, some lose their way and say out of fear that the government is right. The remaining feel it’s better not to speak as there is opposition to what they say.”

“RSS has put forward nationalism saying that India belongs to Hindus. According to Rabindranath Tagore, nationalism means the whole world and we should be like a family. There should be no boundaries.”

“As per Mahatma Gandhi, nationalism should be like patriotism. He has said that it is Swarajya. Our villages should come forward and the farmers should progress.”

“Kuvempu has given a message to the people of the world. We should realize the differences between messages by such noble men and the BJP. Those who are confused should clearly understand them. Then they can decided what is right and what is wrong,” he said.

“If a country consists of people who genuinely love their motherland, everybody will live in harmony. We should love the religion and languages of others just like the religions we belong and languages we speak.”

“As per RSS, one religion is above other religions. They feel people become prominent because of that religion. They feel they will get votes if they promote this attitude. Hitler had done likewise. BJP is following his path. They are creating cracks between minorities to build their vote bank,” she said.

MLA U T Khader, student leader Amoolya, secretary of Mangaluru DAWA center M G Mohammed, SSF state secretary Yakoob Saadi, SDPI state secretary Afzar Koodlipete and SKSSF campus wing state president Ibrahim Batish also spoke on the occasion.

The programme was presided over by Mohammed Bava. Irshad Darimi Mittabail was present on the dais.

The event was inaugurated by Abbas Darimi. Ummer Farookh welcomed the gathering. The programme was compered by Mohammed Gazali. P M Mohammed rendered the vote of thanks.

I am no "bhakt" but t speeches are totally onesided and fiction eg "CAA NRC NPR" was thought of by two persons (read MODIand Shah) Somebody should ask this guy to read what our National leaders Nehru Patel and the great Dr Ambedkar spoke and argued when there was no RSS or BJP in power. What was spoken by the economist Dr Manmohan Singh in Parliament and what was written by Congress leaders Gehlot and Gogoi. Who can tell how CAA will impact Muslims and reds of Dakshin Kannada or anyone in India one bit.??

Mobilizing people is good start. There is passion for national security... However, In every meet, the speakers fail to put forward 3 points against CAA, NRC and NPR. Please publish data points (not perceptions).... Beating around bush is not the solution.

Everyone knows they want to make India - another Taliban
They do not want to build school or hospital or any infrastructure or create any jobs.
Pakistan and Bangladesh has already overtaken India in hunger Index and GDP Growth.
The Hindutva is under threat where the country has 80% + Hindu population and this threat is only since BJP came to power.
I hope the people will leave aside their religion and think betterment of the country, the future of their kids and think of health for themselves and their family members.
