Chikkamagaluru: 'Keep eye on ‘Keralites’ than Coronavirus' - MP Shobha Karandlaje

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikkamagaluru (MS)

Chikkamagaluru, Feb 8: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Saturday, February 8 said that more than checking migrants coming to the state if they are affected with Coronavirus, an eye has to be kept on Keralites as to why they are coming to the state.

Speaking to the scribes in the city, Karandlaje further said, "The number of Keralites visiting the district has increased considerably. They are not coming with the only purpose of touring the district. They are arriving for various reasons. A thorough inquiry has to be done as to why number of Keralites has shot up suddenly in the district.

"Whether the Keralite migrants are coming on their own, or are they being brought to the district by some people? The aim of their arrival should be checked. During the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act violence in Mangaluru, people had arrived from Kerala. So there is a suspicion on them. Vehicles arriving from Kerala also need to be monitored. In addition, lots of complaints are heard about Keralites. There is a concern about their activities in the district,” she said.

Do we need Pakistan to create division of India, when sitting BJP MP's are doing the job for enemy nation?
As per the amended draft, Section 153C reads: “Whoever on grounds of religion, race, caste or community, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, place of birth or origin or such other grounds relating to racial features or to racial behaviour and culture or to racial customs, residence, region, language, disability or tribe” uses “gravely threatening words or advocates hatred” shall be punishable with two-year jail and fine which may extend to Rs. 5,000. The draft bill clarifies that “means of communication” will include “any information, audio, video or combination of both transmitted, retransmitted, and sent through any telecommunication service, communication device or computer resource.”

Under the proposed new Section 505A, the Commission has recommended that whoever indulges in “causing fear, alarm or provocation of violence in certain case” shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with penalty up to Rs. 5,000.

This MP is creating the same hatred to the northeast who are often subjected to such abuse or Bihri, Bhaiyas of Uttar Pradesh in Mumbai.

When people going through attrocities in neighbouring countries can enter India. Why people of another state cannot visit or live elsewhere in India. If within the country there is so much hated, than imagine how US, UK, Gulf, Canada, Australia should behave. So many Indians rotting there.

I hope she consulted her BJP team in Kerala before the speech. In Kerala they speak of Kannadigas in bad light. In Karnataka they speak of Keralites in bad light. Divide and rule is in their veins.

Politics is fine, but hate politics???

Migration of labourers from our neighbouring states is becoming a big nuisense and danger to the survival if Karnataka's language, culture and identity. Travel in any state buses in Bangalore, you hear all lsnguages other than Kannada. Mangaluru name is now heard more as Mangalapuram. Put any property for sale the first offer will come from a particular community of Kerala. God from they get thrir money. In Bengaluru all petty criminals , beggers and low paid labourers come from neighbouring states.Bengaluru has few constituencies where only Malyalee speaking MLAs get elected without much effort.

Don't worry Shobakka.... For the time being Mallu virus is less harmful than Coronavirus. Please talk about improving conditions of our roads, government schools and hospitals, jobs for the youth, safety and security of women and the aged, so on...... and leave the mallu issues. Kerala Parotas with double Omelette and a kadak chai is better than pakodas...!!!

I dont know about politics BJP or Congress There is some element of truth in what Shoba MP says. I say this for the reason we and other of my friends are experiencing this, Some pockets of Hat hill in Mlore is already a Kerala land, and its a nuisance for others who have been residing there since years. They do agree to cooperate , adjust or coexist with other. Any issues they all group together to argue and refute . We are now contemplating of selling and shifting to some other locality,

While there is free movement anywhere inside India, it shouls be understood that you cannot be a nuisance to the locals. The audacity and ganging up can lead to adverse consequenses. So if you are coming from a diff state and living with locals, you need to respect the locals and co exist peacefully.

If MP Shoba wants to ban Keralite from coming to Mangalore the half the education institution and hospitals of Mangalore will be empty. They only run because of Keralite students from borders and interior. Kerala has to start more medical, nursing and education institutions and hospitals in the border areas and there will be almost nil inflow. Great are the thoughts of the MP as Kerala has imposed a case on her for her statements
