Panaji, Oct 25: Sanatan Saunstha needs to rework on their ideology as while on one side they preach spirituality and contentment of God on the other hand their activists are involved in Margao blast, a senior police officer said.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ravindra Yadav, heading the entire investigation of Margao blast, talking to a local news channel said that there is `something wrong’ in Sanatan’s ideology.

“There is something wrong in the ideology of Sanatan Saunstha. While on one hand they preach spirituality and contentment of God, how come their own activists are involved in terrorist act like blasts,” Yadav reacted in a TV show here.

The DIG recalled that earlier the member of this outfit were involved in blasts in Navi Mumbai, Thane and Panvel, last year.

Goa police investigating Margao blast, which occurred on Diwali eve killing two Sanatan activists reportedly carrying the explosives, had earlier refused to involve the saunstha in the act.

“We are saying that saustha’s activist are involved. We never said that saunstha is involved,” superintendent of police (PRO) Atmaram deshpande had said earlier talking to the reporters.

Yadav, on the other hand, raised questionmark on the preachings by this saunstha through its ashram located at ramnathi in Goa. “What kind of teaching is being done there? What kind of indoctrination is it,” he questioned.
Sanatan Saunstha has been at the centre of suspicion after margao blast with special investigation team (SIT) raiding its ashram for three continuous days.

The blast investigations are also surrounding the seekers (sadhakas) of this outfit. Saunstha has, however, denied its role in the blast and has said that they are being targeted and framed in the entire incident.
