Mangaluru: Senior advocate A L Shenoy (88) passes away

Mangaluru, Feb 15: Senior advocate and member of Mangaluru Bar Association A L Shenoy passed away here on Saturday, February 15. 

Born in 1931, Shenoy obtained his obtained his degree from St Aloysius Evening College. He completed his law degree while working.

He began his legal profession as junior to noted lawyer Madhava Rao. He was imprisoned when Emergency was slapped by the Indira government. He was a member of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha and the RSS. He was practicing law even at the ripe age of 88 years. He resided in Matadakani.

He was an expert in labour law. 

He is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son. The family has decided to donate his eyes.

Members of Mangaluru Bar Association offered condolences to the bereaved family.
