Panaji, Oct 28: Tireless crusader for the physically challenged, ‘Naseemadidi Harjuk’ with hundred physically challenged children from Kolhapur and Sindhudurg are visiting Goa. The programme is a joint invitation of Anamprem and The International Centre. The guests are affiliated to ‘Helpers of the Handicapped’ organization.
On November 1, in the morning session, the guests will have ‘Wheels on Sand’ excursion visit to the coastal belt of Calangute and Baga. They will enjoy boat ride and sea games and thereafter they will attend a welcome lunch at Kala Academy, Panaji hosted by the organizers for them and the activists.
Later at 6 pm, a documentary on Naseemadidi and her works will be screened at The International Centre, – Dona Paula. This will be followed by Naseemadidi’s address and interaction in a group discussion on the theme ‘Managing NGOs and institutions working in the field of rehabilitation of the physically challenged and special children’.
Simultaneously a sports event will be organized at The International Centre’s garden in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Panaji for the physically challenged children.
The programme is open for all. The guest will depart for Kolhapur on November 2, after having the site seeing tour of Goa.
