Bengaluru, Feb 21: The fifth additional chief metropolitan magistrate (ACMM) here, through an order issued on Thursday February 20, remanded Amulya, accused of raising slogan in praise of Pakistan, to 14 days judicial custody.
Amulya was produced at the residence of fifth ACMM magistrate Shrin J Ansari, at National Games Village in Koramangala on the night of Thursday, February 20, after which the above order was passed. Therefore, Amulya, who had earlier been ordered to be in judicial custody till February 23, stands shifted to the Parappana Agrahara prison here.
Amulya had raised the slogan at a protest organized by Hindu Muslim Sikh Isai Ekta Committee at Freedom Park here on Thursday.
MP Assaduddin Owaisi had just then arrived at the dais. Amulya, who was holding wallpaper, was asked to speak. As soon as she caught hold of the microphone, Amulya had shouted, 'Pakistan Zindabad' to which Owaisi had objected. The police, who intervened, had taken Amulya into custody.

Bengaluru, Feb 21: In connection with the raising of 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogan by a student of journalism at Freedom Park here, the accused, Amulya Leona Noronha, who was detained by the police, has been remanded to judicial custody till February 23. Amulya Leona, when addressing the gathering where All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MP Assaduddin Owaisi, was present, had started her address by raising pro-Pakistan slogan thrice.
The BJP, which condemned the act of the student, remarked that traitors are seen to be backing anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protesters. BJP state president, Nalin Kumar Kateel, has sought stringent action against the student. MP Shobha Karandlaje, said that Amulya, who had created a scene at Mangaluru airport earlier by taking on nationalist Mahesh Hegde, has a hidden agenda.
The Congress, in a tweet condemned Amulya for raising slogan in favour of an enemy country.
The father of Amulya was cornered and questioned by pro-Hindu activists at Chikkamagaluru on Thursday night. A video showing three men, questioning him about his views on his daughter's action to which the father can be heard saying that his daughter deserves to be imprisoned for her wrongful act has surfaced. The girl's father also said that he will not apply for her bail and will not hire a lawyer to fight her case. In the meantime, a case under different sections of law pertaining to sedition has been registered. Deputy commissioner of police B Ramesh, said that the police registered a suo moto case against Amulya.
On being produced in the court, she was sent to judicial custody till February 23.

The police have put very stringent charges against her which is unclled for. She is a juvenile and she will be ok with some sort of warning and lighter punishment. The people who are promoting is talking about beyond Indian constitution . If Hindu India going to be against secularism then Islam India can be dictatorial fire . Atleast in the earlier , one has voice and the later can cuttle everybody’s voice with wayward fatwas .

Aftr saying " pak zindabad and Hindustan zindabad" she probably wanted to say that the difference between the two was that none from the crowd hailed when she said pak zindabad. But everybody hailed when she said Hindustan zindabad.
But she should have understood that in these charged times she shouldn't have taken such risks. Feel sorry that she now has to go through all the hate and troubles.
