Bengaluru, Feb 22: Another lady, Arudra Narayan, who has been accused of raising pro-Pakistan slogan in the public, was produced in the court after the police registered first information report (FIR) against her under sections 153A and 153B of the Indian Penal Code.

The court has remanded her to 14 days judicial custody, after Arudra was produced before the presiding officer of the sixth a additional chief metropolitan Magistrate court, Krishnamurthy, on Friday February 21. Arudra will be in judicial custody till March 5. She has been lodged in Parappana Agrahara prison.

On Friday, a protest had been arranged near the town hall here against Amulya Leona, who had created a controversy by raising 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogan at the Freedom Park. At this event, a lady is said to have shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogan. The lady who raised this slogan was identified as Arudra. At the programme organized by pro-Hindu organizations in front of the town hall, Arudra suddenly flashed placard that read Muslim, Dalit, Kashmiri, Trans, Tribals freedom. The organizers said that she had shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogan.

A case against her was registered in SJ Park police station for hailing Pakistan. A first information report under sections153 A and 1 53 B was registered in S J Park police station.

Arudra is learnt to be a graphic designer by profession. She is from Malleshwara in the city. She had completed her degree course through a private college. Currently she is working as graphic designer for a private concern. Her actual name is said to be Annapoorna. She had separated from her mother Rama, and father Narayan, two years back and had begun to stay at the residence of her grandmother at Malleshwara. Thereafter, she had opted to stay with her friend. Annapoorna, having been attracted to leftist ideologies, had got her name changed as Arudra.
