Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)
Kasargod, Feb 24: 14 live bullets of 7.62 size of Pakistani make were found from Kulathupuzha in Kollam district. The police believe that they might have come into the state from Pakistan.
All the bullets now found have the 'POF (Pakistan Ordnance Factory)' mark on them. The state government, realizing the seriousness of the d development, has formed an investigating team headed by the deputy inspector general of police which also has officers of intelligence departments of other states to probe the matter in detail.

Two persons moving by a motorbike over Kulathupuzha bridge, which is located 60 km away from Tamil Nadu border, found a cover with bullets inside. They conveyed information to the police who took the bullets into possession. Director general of police (DGP) Lokanath Behera, said that these bullets are used in long range rifles.
The central intelligent agencies have been kept abreast of the development. The DGP stated that the investigating team was formed after discussions with other states. In all probability, officers of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu intelligence teams are part of the investigation team.
MP Shobha Karandlaje, expressing concern about the recovery of Pakistani bullets in Kerala, termed it as an administrative failure of Kerala government and demanded imposition of President's rule in the state.
