M'lore: Glowtouch CEO Lists Accolades Received for Fastest Growth

Mangalore, Nov 7: Dr V Ravichandran, chief executive officer, Glowtouch Technologies, said that his company has received several awards for its tremendous growth and its contribution to the economy over the past three years.
 
Speaking to presspersons at the company’s development centre at Maryhill, he said that the company has been named the fastest growing privately owned company in Greater Louisville by ‘Business First’ of Louisville’s annual ‘Fast 50’ list.

“This is the first year that Glowtouch has been included on this list. Business First’s Fast 50 awards honour the fastest-growing independent and privately-held companies in the Greater Louisville area”, said Dr Ravichandran.  
      
“The company was also recently listed as the second fastest growing private company in Kentucky and the 130th fastest in the nation by ‘Inc. Magazine’. The magazine has also included Glowtouch in its ‘Top 10 Indian-run Companies’ and ‘Top 10 IT Services’”, he added.
 
“It has been conferred the prestigious FKCCI ‘Export Excellence Award-2009 (Best Services Award-Silver)’ and the prestigious second best ‘Export Award for Software Export for the Year 2007-2008’ at Bangalore ‘IT Biz 2008’”, said Dr Ravichandran.
 
Glowtouch Technologies is a technology resource company with its headquarters in Louisville, USA, and offices in Boston, Palo Alto, Nashville, as well as a modern, streamlined campus at Maryhill in Mangalore, where about 750 employees work.

Dr Ravichandran is also a recipient of ‘Bharathiya Udyog Ratna’ award, bestowed by the Indian government, for being a meritorious entrepreneur.

He started Diya Systems, a BPO service provider company, in 2002 and it was merged with Glowtouch Technologies in 2008.
