Udupi: Senior Congress leader, entrepreneur ‘Pataki’ Saralaya found dead, suicide suspected

Udupi, Feb 29: The dead body of senior social leader K Krishnaraja Saralaya (87) was found in the well of his residence at Paniyadi near here on Saturday, February 29.

Saralaya was suffering from mental depression. It is suspected that he must have jumped into the well. He was well known for his social activities. He had a firecracker shop on Car Street near the Sri Krishna Math. He was better known as ‘Pataki’ Saralaya.

Fire service personnel have lifted the body up from the well. Social worker Nityananda Olakadu provided free ambulance service for the operation of transporting the body for post mortem.

Senior Congress leader and former minister Pramod Madhwaraj offererd his condolences on the demise of Saralaya.

A case in this regard is registered at the city police station.

    Honestly in my opinion you shoud not cross boundaries before commenting about a National Party like Congress to be merged with AAP. Ups and downs there like after the night, there is a day break! If today we Indians are competing globally, it's because after the Indias Independance it's the 'Congress Party' which was in power most of the time who built India with Institutes like IIT's or Nuclear Power Stations. Most of the credit goes to none other than late P.M Mr. P.V. Narasinha Rao and his F.M in the early 90's and Dr. Manmohan Singh then F.M who brought India on Golbal Arena in techonology. And today from last almost 6 years Mr. Modi is selling the Nationalized Properties or Assets whether it is BSNL or Banks or Navratna Companies!. Show me One Institute which Modi or RSS has built for the national interest. On the contrary they are selling and looting India to their criny capitslist friends Ambani's
