Mangaluru, Feb 29: Actress and well-known compere Hera Pinto inaugurated ‘Agno Carnival 2020’ at St Agnes College grounds on Saturday, February 29. The fun-filled event had activities like fashion show, battle of bands, food stalls, guest performances and many more.

Addressing the gathering, Hera Pinto said, "Agno Carnival, the name itself brings excitement among the students gathered here. You have a beautiful and blessed life. There are several opportunities around you that you may not see. This is the event where you can show your creativity, talents. Take this as an opportunity. Always be strong and focused in what you do. Never wait for anybody to fix you up. Anything you do, just do it for yourself. Always believe in yourself.”

St Agnes College Principal Dr M Jeswina A C said, "This event is first of its kind and a very unique one. The event will be platform to showcase your talents. It is not about winning or losing. It is about developing your personality by taking part in the events.”

Staff coordinator Amitha welcomed the gathering. Nerissa Noronha compered the event and Dalia rendered the vote of thanks.
