Bengaluru, Mar 3: It is said that the Congress is determined to seek the ouster of MLA from Vijayapura, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, from the assembly based on 23 cases he has been facing which includes cheating.

The party, which is angry at the remarks made by the MLA against freedom fighter, H S Doreswamy, and his stubbornness not to apologize for the remarks, is said to have pooled together details of the cases he is facing, and go all out for his removal.

When submitting affidavit to the election commission, Yatnal had provided a list of 23 cases he was facing. The Congress is basing its action plan on these cases. The Congress legislature party meeting has decided to move ahead with the demand and to hold protest demonstration to ensure that Yatnal loses his assembly membership.

Siddaramaiah has been demanding to drive Yatnal out of the assembly and also the BJP.
