Mangalore, Nov 14: Assistant town planning officer (ATPO) of the local city corporation was suspended from duties on Friday November 13 for dereliction of duties.
Corporation commissioner, Dr Vijayprakash, said that the officials of the corporation had given clear instructions to all its officials, to take abundant care to ensure that the buildings under construction at present, do not violate any of the rules and regulations. He clarified that Dileep, ATPO, was suspended for not properly executing these instructions and failing to discharge his duties properly.
