Moodbidri: Five from Perady Lose Lives in Accident near Ankola

Moodbidri, Nov 18: Five residents of Perady near here, lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred at Mastikatte near Ankola in the early hours on Wednesday November 18.

At around 5.30 am today, a tempo trax in which they were travelling, was hit by a ore-laden truck at Mastikatte on national highway 63. As per the information received, four persons from a single family including a child, who were going to attend a programme, were killed. The Trax driver, who is from Alangar near here, also is said to have been among those killed. More details are awaited.
