Dr Pinto was speaking as the chief guest at the 'Yo' ice cream release programme of Hangyo ice creams private limited that was held at the auditorium of hotel Kohinoor Continental Emerald at Andheri East in the city on Sunday, March 15.
Bollywood actors Priya Bapat and Rashmi Desai also took part in the event. Couple Shyamsundar Keshkamath and Sujatha Shyamsundar, income tax commissioner of Bhubaneshwar, chief financial officer of Reliance Retail limited Rajendra Kamath, president of Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (Ahar) Shivananda Shetty and managing director of Ribbons n Balloons Sathish V Shetty were present on the occasion and released various brands of 'Yo' icream products. Priya Bapat unveiled the logo of Yo icecream.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya Bapat said, "There is no need of going anywhere else when we have international branded products within our country. Hangyo has made this possible. Let Hangyo become popular in coming days."
"I have tasted every product of Hangyo ice creams. Each one is better than the other. These products not only attract children but elderly people also. Let all of us enjoy Hangyo everyday in our homes," said Rashmi Desai.
Shyamsunder, IT commissioner said, "People are very health and calorie conscious nowadays. They keep a track of fat content in the product they are eating. However, Hangyo has taken all these points into consideration and has researched and come with products that are popular among all people of society. It is really appreciable that it is distributing its products throughout the country. Hangyo is the company which pays the highest income tax from Mangaluru. Let them taste more success in their venture and become the highest tax paying company in the state of Karnataka."
Rajendra Kamath said, "Hangyo, as its meaning, has attracted everyone through the satisfaction of its products. Let the industry grow in future too."

Founder executive president G S Kamath, entrepreneurs K C Shetty, N T Poojari, Antony Sequeira, Divya D Pai, Madhavi Kamath, Justice M V Kini, K S Prabhu, N N Pal and Yash Shetty were present on the occasion along with distributors of Hangyo ice cream.
Nikesh Desai began the programme with prayer song. Anurag Bangera Mangaluru introduced the guests to the audience and compered the event. Hangyo director Deepa P Pai, executive president Dinesh R Pai Hubballi, executive director Jagadish R Pai, Manjunath N Bengaluru, vice president (Vikraya), F S Miranda, technical advisor Sahid Mansoori and Brian D'Souza felicitated the guests by offering floral bouquets.
As part of the entertainment programme Shamang team directed by Avadhooth J Ray presented musical concert. Vineet Mastam compered the entertainment programme.
