Mangaluru, Apr 15: In an incident which happened at Agaramelu near Suratkal on the evening of Tuesday, April 14, a 27-year-old man, who was being taken to hospital after he began to experience extreme breathing difficulties, breathed his last on way to the hospital.
The doctors of the COVID 19 (Wenlock) hospital here, who suspected that this could be the result of coronavirus infection, collected throat swabs of the youth and sent them for testing. The test results came negative on Wednesday, April 15.

The young man suddenly had suffered from breathing problem. His family members had called for an ambulance to take him to hospital. When being transported to a hospital in the city by the ambulance, be passed away before reaching the hospital.
Earlier, the throat swabs of the youth were collected by the doctors at the Wenlock Hospital here. The problem could also have been the result of some other health conditions. Policemen, officials of health department, etc visited the spot and gathered information.
