Kuwait, Apr 15: Catholic Christian Ahmadi family group based in the city helped NRIs who could not have food as they did not get their salaries from the company due to coronavirus pandemic.
Ashraf, one of the beneficiaries who received help from the group said, "From the past three months a group of people were finding it difficult to have food as they did not have money. Adyar Prashant Ferrao saw our Facebook post of the plight of these people and called us and got details of the issue. Prashant Ferrao of Catholic Christian Ahmadi family group immediately arranged grocery items worth 10 KD for each person for 10 people. In today's world where people ignore others, Prashant did not see any other factor than humanity and has helped us immediately. We thank Prashant Ferrao and the Catholic Christian Ahmadi group wholeheartedly. Let God keep them safe and happy."
Mohammed Rafiq, one more beneficiary and resident of B C Road said, "I am residing in Mehaboola of Kuwait. We are facing problems here due to the coronavirus pandemic as we do not have work and money to eat. During this crisis, I am grateful my brothers of Christian Catholic Ahmadi family group helped us by providing rice, sugar etc essential items. Thanks a lot for Prashant Ferrao and the whole group. Let Allah reward them in abundance. I also thank my friend Ashraf who helped us to receive this charity from the group."
