Ballari: ‘Gargle with salt, turmeric to cure coronavirus’ - Minister Sriramulu

Daijiworld Media Network - Ballari (MS)

Ballari, Apr 18: Minister Sriramulu, who had earlier given a statement that where the sunlight is more there the people will recover faster from coronavirus pandemic, has given one more tip on the pandemic and said that gargling with salt and turmeric will cure coronavirus.

Speaking to the media in the city, Sriramulu said, "In order to get cured from coronavirus gargle your mouth with salt and turmeric. Develop the habit of drinking hot water only. This also reduces coronavirus. In China also people have cured themselves by doing these. I am not a doctor but have read this in some health article.

Earlier, Sriramulu had said in the district level meeting of officers of Haveri city that where there is more sunlight, in those areas people suffering from coronavirus are getting cured faster.

Incidentally, Sriramulu himself forgot to maintain social distance in the programme of distributing food kits at Roopanagudi Road of the city on Saturday, April 18. Both minister Sriramulu and Somashekhar Reddy did not maintain social distance while distributing food kits to people. Even their followers also did not maintain the same.

Salt water can only kill some bacteria by process called Osmosis. A corona virus is a RNA strand. Nasal saline spray or salt gargling will not kill it . In fact some swabs used for testing use salt water to transport the virus.

    Spiritual Medicine,

Everyone love this virus! It will run away from you as you are surrendering it to God as God is Love 1 John 4:8 (Also send love to your whole body.)

Worry, fear only make things worser and deadlier.

Stay indoors till this plague passes away or till lockdown is removed, pray for that and stay happy and fit.

Another idea: to boiling water, add small amount of vick vaporub and inhale high temperature stream.. may be virus present in lungs and respiratory tracts may die very quickly because of heat gas!

"The droplets generally do not travel more than a few feet, and they fall to the ground (or onto surfaces) in a few seconds — this is why social and physical distancing is effective in preventing the spread."

The above theory has been debunked; and latest findings r that the virus can go up to 2 meters after powerful sneezing/coughing! Also, infection could spread by normal exhalation! Moreso, it can form infectious aerosols which can remain in the air for hours (in closed environments)! It can remain active on surfaces for prolonged period of time, hence emphasising on frequent hand washing!

Coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. A newly identified type has caused a recent outbreak of respiratory illness now called COVID-19.

As of now, researchers know that the new coronavirus is spread through droplets released into the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The droplets generally do not travel more than a few feet, and they fall to the ground (or onto surfaces) in a few seconds — this is why social and physical distancing is effective in preventing the spread.

COVID-19 appeared in Wuhan, a city in China, in December 2019. Although health officials are still tracing the exact source of this new coronavirus, early hypotheses thought it might be linked to a seafood market in Wuhan, China. Some people who visited the market developed viral pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus. A study that came out on Jan. 25, 2020, notes that the individual with the first reported case became ill on Dec. 1, 2019, and had no link to the seafood market. Investigations are ongoing as to how this virus originated and spread.

It appears that symptoms are showing up in people within 14 days of exposure to the virus.
    COVID-19 symptoms include:

    Cough
    Fever
    Shortness of breath
    Muscle aches
    Sore throat
Unexplained loss of taste or smell
    Diarrhea
    Headache
In rare cases, COVID-19 can lead to severe respiratory problems, kidney failure, or death.

Diagnosis may be difficult with only a physical exam because mild cases of COVID-19 may appear similar to the flu or a bad cold. A laboratory test can confirm the diagnosis.

    How is COVID-19 treated?
As of now, there is not a specific treatment for the virus. People who become sick from COVID-19 should be treated with supportive measures: those that relieve symptoms. For severe cases, there may be additional options for treatment, including research drugs and therapeutics.

    Well said, Monty Dotor.

But am not too sure about "Be Wise" part. When we have uneducated leaders advocating superstition, how can the followers become wise?

If our leaders thought differently, the country wouldn't be heading towards an economic calamity.

    Dear Cynthia,

I am trying to save men from economic calamity, as well as from problems by courts, police, media, in-laws, out-laws, etc.

The political leaders, on the other hand, are hastening our economic calamity.

So, there is a big difference between the two 'tips'.
