Mangaluru: Bantwal’s coronavirus casualty’s 75-year-old relative tests positive

Mangaluru Apr 23: A 75-year-old woman from Bantwal tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday, April 23.

It is said that the woman was being treated in a private hospital as she has suffered a stroke. It is gathered that she is the mother-in-law of the deceased coronavirus patient from Bantwal.

The patient’s swab was collected for test. The result came as positive after which she was shifted to ICU in Wenlock COVID hospital from the private hospital.

With this, the number of positive patients in Dakshina Kannada, has increased to 17. Twelve have been discharged after getting cured completely, four are currently being treated, and one has passed away.
