Now 2 sadhus found murdered in UP

Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 28 (IANS): Two sadhus were found murdered inside a Shiva temple at Pagona village of Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.

The murder came to light when people reached the temple on Tuesday morning and saw the blood-soaked bodies. According to reports, the deceased have been identified as Jagandas,55, and Sevadas,35.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident and directed the district officials to reach the site of crime and inform him of the investigations. He has also ordered strict action against the accused.

 

SSP Bulandshahr Santosh Singh said that one person had been detained. He had stolen an article form the two sadhus and the latter had scolded him.

Further investigations are underway and additional forces have been deployed in the area.

These murders come almost a fortnight after the Palghar lynching in Maharashtra, where two 'sadhus' and their driver, proceeding from Nashik to Surat, were cornered and lynched by a 200-strong mob outside Gadchinchle village on April 16 night. Police had rushed to stop it but failed.

    it is very sad to learn at this time when our country struggling in fighting corona virus pandemic, lynching of people are taking place . fact to note down is victims are sadhus, this time also victims are sadhus that is also inside shiva temple. This time whether this act is a ploy to create communal unrest in the country? By allmeans all culprits must be punished, LET THE SOUL DECEASED REST IN PEACE

    This can only stop if the govt takes strict action irrespective of the religion or caste of the accused.

    Till last week BJP was not even bothered as most killed in mob lynchings were Muslims or Dalits. Today when Sadhus are getting killed they have woken up.

    Real Sadhus do not have political connections. They work or beg and fill their stomach & pray for India and the entire world.
    Sadhus who cheat people & Govt. and make money & enjoy lavish life are having their own bouncers to protect them.
