'Dismayed' by White House unfollowing PM on Twitter: Rahul

New Delhi, Apr 29 (IANS): Congress' former President Rahul Gandhi has asked the External Affairs Ministry to take note of unfollowing of Twitter account of the President and Prime Minister by the White House.

"I'm dismayed by the "unfollowing" of our President and PM by the White House. I urge the Ministry of External Affairs to take note," he said in a tweet.

The tweet comes in wake of reports that the White House is now longer following the Prime Minister on Twitter.

The Congress has raised the issue after the government claimed that India has better ties than the US after two successful events - 'Namaste Trump' here in February this year and 'Howdy, Modi!' event in the US.

RG is on criticizing mode since outbreak of Kovid. During the outbreak, he was vacationing at Italy with no whereabouts made known to anybody in India where he is a elected member of Parliament. On return, when a pandemic was at our doorstep, he never underwent quarantine with surveillance as per norms. With these lapses, he was busy advising the Executives and Administers with impracticable and impossible theories with no element of accountability and responsibility. It is the time to stand with his people and fight together against this pandemic but RG is playing politics and exploring all options to seize power during next elections. This virus is doing more damage than Corona itself....!

If anyone thinks that America will become their friend it's a dream or conspiracy. America never becomes anyone's friend. Even they rage a war they'll rage it in the name of peace.
