'Bognam' - Glorious Angelore's New Year Bonanza

Mangalore, Dec 30 : The year 2009 saw to the release of over two dozen  Konkani music albums,  both from new comers and veterans.  The trend seems to be overflowing into the  new year 2010 too, as on the first day of new year, a brand new album is set to be released.
 
Two young and enthusiastic musicians Maxim and Canute have tied up  with 'Bognam'  . Maxim Pereira of 'Manasa' fame  has written and revised the lyrics  and has given tune to the songs. The album will be  presented  under his own  banner 'Glorious Angelore'. This is Maxim 6th album. His  previous  albums, Manasa, Maina, Baila Boom and others have been hits. Besides these six albums, he has also  presented three devotional albums in Konkani.

Canute Mathias, another talented singer hailing from Shirva, and presently residing in Dubai is the co-producer of this album.  Canute has been a good singer, and has performed in various shows in Dubai and back home , singing  Konkani, Tulu, Kannada and Hindi numbers.

 Canute is of the hope that his combined effort  Maxim will be well received by the listeners, as they have concentrated on popular music rather than innovations.
 
Other singers who have lent their voices for this album are Paul Pereira, Canute Mathias, Rony D'Cunha, , Prakash D'Souza, Zeena Pereira and Shilpa Cutinho.
 
Angelore's very own  Roshan D'Souza has directed music for the album. The album has been recorded at Sandesha Digital Mangalore, by Ashith Pinto Angelore, Mixed & Mastered by Nithin Ernakulam, Kerala.
 
'Bognam' is set to be released on the evening of  Jan 1, 2010 at the Shirva Don Bosco School open ground .  'USWAS' an association of Shirva parishioners in the UAE will for the first time host a memorable event in the home town. The event will be  packed with  music, comedy, dance, and topped with  spot prizes and other novelties.
 
Fr Richard Coelho, parish Priest of Shirva and Walter Nandalike of Daijiworld.com will jointly release this new album during the event, which will start at 6.00pm.
