Dear Alred/Ivy, Wilfred/Flavy, Mariet/Ashley, Dr. Harriet/ Dr. Sunil, Josfred/Diana, Shalet/Dr. Robert Rebello and all the loved ones,

Really do not know how to console and comfort you all at this point in time when my heart is heavy too. The very fact that your Mom had won millions of hearts because of her kind heart, helping nature and tremendous achievements as a prodigious leader should be solace to you during these testing times. Personally I have lost a role model and a trailblazer whom I tried to emulate with pride and gratification. She was an Iron-willed lady with butter-like heart who was always willing to help people irrespective of their cast, creed and colour.

On behalf of Olivera family, Padukone please accept our heartfelt sympathies. She will shower her choicest blessing on all of you from up above so that you may get the audacity to accept this huge loss as God’s will. She will be affectionately remembered for a very long time.
