Two nurses test Covid-19 positive in Gurugram


Gurugram, Apr 30 (IANS): The Covid-19 infection among healthcare personnel is on the rise in the Millennium City. Two more nurses, associated with Medanta Hospital, tested positive on Thursday.

With this, the number of coronavirus patients reached 57. Of this, 38 have been discharged.

The areas, where the nurses were staying had been declared containment zones and sealed with additional deployment of police, said J.S. Punia, Gurugram Civil Surgeon.

One nurse lives in Islampur village and another in Ganga Vihar in the old city.

Gurugram has now 28 containment zones.
