AAP MLA from Karol Bagh tests coronavirus positive


New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): Member of Legislative Assembly from Karol Bagh, Vishesh Ravi has tested positive for COVID-19, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA informed on Saturday.

Ravi who is the third time MLA from the party wrote on Twitter, "I had fever from last one or two days, as per doctor's advice I went for COVID-19 test. The report on Friday said I have tested positive."

"With god's blessings, the health is fine but due to mild symptoms I have home quarantined myself," Ravi added.

 

In recently conducted Delhi elections, Ravi won against BJP's Yogender Chandoliya from Karol Bagh by a margin of 31,760 votes.

In 2014 Assembly elections Ravi won from the same constituency with a margin of 32,880.
