For Mangalore its 12 hr relief, for Udupi its 7 hrs relief.....hard to believe, how come few officials are given power to decide in Udupi...We are all obident people, but officials should not take advantage of it, by imposing laws, which are not elsewhere.

First of all mangalore wakes up at 7 pm and sleeps at 7 pm. When you are relaxing the lockdown. Allow public transport too. With precautions. Now how is that these rules and regulations are explained in details. Can't these sent by sms alerts to our cell phones, so everybody gets informed.

Thanks to district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary for his latest information and timings of lockdown relief of 12-hours starting at 7am-7pm. Before it was confusing about what was allowed and not during this time. I think this is a sensible timing as they can adjust according to their convenience. But people should not misuse the timings and also the do's and don'ts.

Every standalone shop - sale or service - is allowed, except what is specifically barred (like salon, beauty parlour, bar n restaurant etc are not allowed). So, a car garage or Electrical/Electronics repairs will be available. This is because, the people gathering will be limited in servicing, compared to a restaurant.
    Hope this clarifies.

I really cannot understand the meaning of essential items and important work, we have been doing all important work daily in the morning during the lockdown.
Last month the people of Mangalore got a 12 hour relief they thought it is the last relief shopping spur of their life. Social distancing most important for tomorrow, guys take care and remember that there is always a next time.
