5 injured in explosion in Handwara


Srinagar, May 3 (IANS): Five persons, including two children, were injured when a shell exploded at Handwara in north Kashmir on Sunday.

The explosion occurred at Ahgam village, not far from the site of Sunday's encounter in Handwara in which five security personnel were killed and two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists eliminated.

The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital. Police reached the spot and began the probe.
