Sonia Gandhi attacks PM-CARES fund

New Delhi, May 4 (IANS): After announcing that the Congress will bear the cost of the returning migrants, party interim chief Sonia Gandhi issued a video statement highlighting the plight of the migrants and attacked the PM-CARES fund.

Gandhi said "I hoped that thousands of crores which came in the name of charity will be used for nation builders and they will be provided free travel but I am pained this has not been done."

She said farmers are givers of foodgrain so the labourers are nation builders who she called "shramik" brothers and sisters.

The Congress leader said that the nation is feeling the pain when they saw people walking towards their homes on foot without food.

She slammed the railways for special charges on the tickets.

Gandhi in her early morning statement on Monday has said that the Central government barely gave a four-hour notice for the lockdown, so workers and migrant labourers were denied the opportunity to return to their homes.

She said, post the Partition in 1947, this is the first time India witnessed a tragedy with such a massive human cost as thousands of migrant workers and labourers were forced to walk home several hundred kilometres on foot - without food, without medicines, without money, without transportation, without anything except for the desire to return to their families and loved ones.

    Congratulations Madam Soniaji for taking the bull by its horns. While the common man is subject to various audits and explanations PM-CARES fund which has collected thousands of crores is bypassing CAG audit. Double standards of the PM & GOI.

    SMadam Maino, you should be the last person questioning the govt. Being in opposition does not mean you do not do any good for the country. what is your contribution since the corona outbreak? Other than questioning every govt move you and your party has not done anything constructive. You could have come forward and donated PPEs across the country for the health care workers, donated ration kits to the poor( of course in Rajasthan your party did that selectively), spent a good part of looted money for the public and earned some respect. Everytime you and your children make some absurd statements in the media which is lapped up by your followers. You have started a new drama of making your son interacting with the intellectuals, but that does'nt change the fact that he is a dull head. Instead of all these nautanki atleast now wake up and do some genuine good for the people( all of them, not just congress supporters) so that you are respected. Stop running after money. You have too much of it which can last for many generations to come.

    One guy (ultra smart and highly intelligent) was talking non sense during last 5+ years and he was sent home by his own constituency people. People have given mandate on who is corrupt/ incapable/ fake and who is honest in May 2014 and May 2019. Hope the so called smart & caring leaders will understand. And also the thier untra intelligent followers (including this media) remind them that the Family (mother, son, son-in-law); DKS and Chidambaram are just out on bail.
    The ultra smart guy had a great and long (10 years) opportunity to learn something under another great great leaader (MMS) but didn't manage to learn some words also.

    It’s very clear that, something is not right in PM cares fund. If there is no transparency in that fund ,that means there is corruption going on and people will not benefit from it.

    I am not saying present Govt. is doing good in managing the economy but it is also bitter truth to know the drama of this fake Gandhi family and how they ruined the country in last 60 years.
    60 years gareebi hatavo slogan still continuing during every election. Instead of poor becoming rich, madam became one of the richest woman in the world.
    PMO care fund was created to take away the life long control of INC chief over PMO relief fund (Nehru's idea). If more information required so called Chamcha's can file RTI and get the details.
    Now lock down is relaxed, media drama started by these jokers.

    You have a problem that madam became rich. You dd not had problem when BJP became richest party in the world. You did not had any problem when Amit Shah's son 's fortune went 20 times higher in the last 6 years. You did not had any problem when A baba was made millionaire in few years? You had no problem when tax payers money was wasted on security for Baba, Cow Swamy and that so called freedom fight who went on fasting during UPA rule.

    You see, our beloved Prime Minister:
    - lives purely on his salary and donates the savings;
    - he has no monetary aspirations to accumulate and sit on a huge heap;
    - he has absolutely no vices of alcohol, druge and frequent hopping to Bangkok;
    - there have been no gates during his tenure unlike the successful coalgate, 2G gate, Bofors, Telgi,
    Madhu Koda, Fodder, scam in literally every Govet Undertakings, etc., etc.;
    - Public is donating left, right and centre;
    - Sorry, no share for anyone, even to the dead bodies opening their mouths.

    The PM Cares Fund is a special fund which Modiji has initiated on his own. This is a private fund and no one in the country should ask him a question. There is already a PM Relief or Disaster Fund which anyone can ask for information but PM Cares Fund is special one. He can do whatever he wants with it without any accountability to anyone. It is for his personal use and Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has no right ask such a noble gentleman like Modiji. Afterall India has become his fiefdom and he started demonetization, higher GST, silence on mob lynchings and bank frauds like PMT and YES BANK, his style of Shutdown without thinking of daily wage earners. Please do not ask this world class great statesman any questions but let him tell us his maan ki baat. The money given by industrialists and big business houses for the PM Cares Fund was not for workers or anything to do with Covid-19 but for his personal use. Modiji tells us he is a fakir but he loves money, costly watches, suits, cars, air travels.

    When somebody comments, it should not be prejudicial. PM cares fund is government approved trust , whose signaturies are the Prime Minister,Home Minister,Finance Minister , ( irrespective of party affiliation) who are elected . Where as the PM relief fund, the signaturies are some minister and President of Indian National Congress, he/she is neither elected nor accountable to anybody. As you are well aware no election has ever taken place in INC from last 30 to 40 years. Both the acting Predidents are on bail in a major cheating case. Finally for any expenses to be disbursed from PMs relief fund the govt has to go with a begging bowl to these corrupt peoples mercy. This clause of including INC President was the brain child of Nehru, who had dreamed that his family would be the permanent owners of INC.

    Let this party start UPA cares or Cong Cares Fund ....
    Let us see who will donate and how much ....
    Congress members only will not contribute more than 100 Rs.For they know how every scam takes place...All " Guloom " people.Readers from this Portal only may contribute more by the look if things.
    All these eyes on PM Cares Fund only ...No care for the common man.
    There would have definitely been a Corona Scam had these people been in power.
    Now tell me what are the contributions of this party ? Could not even light a Diya or
    Ring a Ghanta ...
    Apna PM hai bhai ...He knows what best to do ...
    If you don't know what to do..it's OK.Sit quiet.Don't meddle.

    Don't praise the PM always.
    So many ppl are speaking against him for not providing the necessary needs of the ppl during the lockdown. U can see today in blore, ppl are just rushing to their natives and even some have told henceforth not willing to come back at all. That much is the suffering the ppl have suffered during the lockdown.

    What pm has done until now. When karnataka was washed out last year due to flood what he contributed for that.

    PM care fund is only for namesake. The money got in this will not be given to anyone it will be all eaten and it will be used for THE INTERNATIONAL tours of our PM, and not for anything else.

    Just wait for some months and u will understand.
    What lockdown has done, if it would have been followed religiously we could have controlled by now. But now the cases are increasing every passing day. Nothing will happen by making sound and lighting diya. It is totally nuisance.

    Do you remember PM's much ambitious and much hyped Gold deposit scheme of 2015? Riding high on 2014 victory, he thought and openly expressed his thoughts that he was sure of amassing a deposit of 20,000 tons of gold and do you know how much he could amass ? a paltry 400 grams. All 400 grams must be from you only! Had all bhakths deposited a gram each, it would have been few kilos at least. This manifests the trust reposed by people in leader when it comes to their personal wealth.

    Why congress people ONLY have to donate 100 crores?? Why the hell congress has to open a fund when they are in opposition? Ask your beloved Chai leaders that if they don't know how to manage and don't have the GUTS to disclose the amount sitting in the care fund.

    Details on this fund and on the decision-making process behind the lockdown, which the PMO has decided not to disclose, should have been made public without waiting for RTI requests.

    By withholding information on PM-CARES and the lock-down, the PMO has violated the RTI act.

    As has been reported by now, the PMO, perhaps, did not repose confidence in its own PM National Relief Fund, for reasons not explained, and created another fund called ‘PM-CARES’ in the wake of the coronavirus attack.

    PM-CARES did not care for RTI, as PMO refused to give information about the thousands of crores of rupees of public money given into the accounts of government-controlled PM CARES fund.

    1. Why the PM National Relief Fund is renamed as 'PM Care fund'?
    2. Why the PM National Relief Fund funds of Rs 3000 crores has not been utilsied under the 'Disaster management act, 2005'?
    3. Why the PM Modi' government has not formulated the nine member committer under the Disaster management act, 2005'?
    4. What is the necessity of creating parallel 'PM care' fund while already similar funds under his care operating?
    5. Why 'PM Care' fund is kept out of CAG auditing?
    6. Is 'PM Care' is the BJP own version of '2 G Scam' without any transparency?

    Smr
    Who r you to dictate how and what should be done?
    Ppl have elected BJP /MODI democratically and he is doing /ruling as per Constitution of India. Not like ur old madam during emergency amended Constitution without following the procedure. And this new madam is like fish out of water as for last 6 years no power. That too between 2004 to 2014 it was absolute power without any responsibility. We all know why this khangress is worried because one by one institution which were under party even though funds from Govt is going out of their hand.
