Mumbai, Jan 12: Male Hani Muttu, second collection of Kannada poems of metro’s award winning stage artiste, director and poet Saa Daya (Dayanand Salian), was released at Karnataka Sangh mini-auditorium, Goregaon, here, recently. Male Hani Muttu has been published by metro based Chukki Sankula.
Veteran columnist and intellectual Ravi Ra Anchan presided and released the collection of poems.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Ra Anchan said that the poet Saa Daya has attempted to give voice to passing dreams. Every human being has a voice that grows and wanes away by death. Speech and silence makes one complete. Male Hani Muttu describes the passing phase of dreams based on innocence to maturity, said Ravi.

Dr Girija Shastry introducing the work, Male Hani Muttu said that poetry unfolds the hidden meaning based on imaginations. The poems do not let the meaning so easily. The indepth meaning is so expanse that the poet himself can very well elaborate. The poetry is an attempt to give life to rural dreams and complexities of human relations. Poetry usually takes shape in adversity and agony, said Dr Girija.
Chukki Sankula had released Jatreya Marudina poetry as 14th book by Saa Daya, about one and a half decade ago, while Male Hani Muttu is the second collection of poems of Saa Daya published by Chukki Sankula.
Chukki Sankula head Chandrashekar Rao welcomed the gathering. Gopal Trasi compered the programme.
