Kasargod: Truck topples after driver loses control, one injured

Kasargod, May 15: A truck that was going from Mangaluru to Kasargod carrying bundles of paper toppled at Hosangadi on national highway. This incident occurred at 11 pm on Thursday, May 14.

As the truck toppled it made a huge noise due to which nearby locals and the police, who were on patrol in the market area of Hosangadi on Covid-19 duty rushed to the spot and pulled the driver and cleaner of the truck out from the cabin and got them admitted to the hospital.

Driver of the said truck got injured in the accident while the cleaner escaped unhurt. The truck is bearing Tamil Nadu registration number and the names of driver and cleaner is not known. It was carrying newspaper from Mangaluru to Kasargod.

A case in this regard is registered at Manjeshwar police station.
