30 Police Officers from State Get President's Medal


Bangalore, Jan 25 (DHNS) : The President's police medal for distinguished service will be conferred upon three officers from Karnataka whereas the fire service medal for distinguished service will be given away to three fire service officials of the State. 

Fifteen police officers will receive the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service whereas as many as nine fire service officials from the State will receive the Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service.

The winners include Bangalore City Additional Commissioner of Police (L&O) M R Pujar and K U Ramesh, Chief Fire Officer, Bangalore East (Distinguished Service), Alok Kumar, JCP (Crime) and Basavaraj Malagatti, DCP (North-East Division), Bangalore City (Meritorious Service). A S Khader, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Finger Print Bureau (FPB), Western Range, Mangalore will be the first FPB official from the State to receive the medal for distinguished service.
