Dubai, Jan 31: Kanara Entrepreneurs Ltd. (KEL) are pleased to announce their next session – ‘Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ open to all interested in understanding Stephen Covey’s principles on how to be effective as an individual.  Being effective is learning to do ‘that which produces the desired result’.  If you want to be extremely successful in business or lead a happy life or achieve some large goal, then being effective is consistently doing the things that will bring about the results you are after.  During this session, the speaker will provide insights to each of the seven habits and how they can impact us to be effective. The speaker will touch on each of the seven habits -

Habit 1: Be Proactive: Principles of Personal Choice
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind: Principles of Personal Vision
Habit 3: Put First Things First: Principles of Integrity & Execution
Habit 4: Think Win/Win: Principles of Mutual Benefit
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood: Principles of Mutual Understanding
Habit 6: Synergize: Principles of Creative Cooperation
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw: Principles of Balanced Self-Renewal of body

Speaker’s Profile:

Rachael Handley, has worked in the UAE for 13 years, in the Learning & Development field. Prior to working in the UAE, Rachael worked in China for Shangri-La Hotels. She has worked in the Hospitality sector as a Regional Training Manager and has had extensive experience in the Banking sector, having spent the last eight years with Emirates NBD, where she was responsible for Management Development and Talent Management. She has experience of assessment methods, psychometric testing, evaluation, performance management, and is a licensed facilitator for 7 Habits and Executive Coach. She has a Masters in Occupational Psychology and Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Currently, she is Learning & Development Manager for ENOC, responsible for all elements of Learning, UAE National Development and Competency development.

    Its a wonderful book to study. This book which i have read long back and the principles are practical and workeable. Stephen R Covey is one of the renowned author and specialised in the leadership field. Good Luck KEL
