M'lore: Management Fest Spinout-09 Inaugurated at St Aloysius College

Mangalore, Feb 5: Allen C A Pereira, chairman and managing director, Bank of Maharashtra inaugurated ‘Spinout-09’, a two-day state level management fest, organized by the department of business management, St Aloysius College at the college premises on Friday February 5.

Speaking on the occasion, Pereira said that the youth should concentrate on all the aspects of the subjects and prepare themselves for the future challenges. He said that proper guidance will help students to choose a powerful career and students are also required to study with more enthusiasm in order to be successful in life.
 

Pereira recalled his memories as a student of St Aloysius College and said that institution leads students towards excellence.
 
Prof Mustiary Begum, chairman, department of business administration, Mangalore University, was the guest of honour. She said that students’ participation in skillful activities prepares them to face any challenge in life and professional career as well.
 
Principal, Fr Swebert D'Silva said that students should realize that the world is changing at a faster pace and hence need to prepare themselves well in advance.

Prof T Ramesh Kamath, dean, business management department, staff convenor Aswil Karkera, student president Daryl D’Souza, student convenors Neeraj and Nabeel among others were also present. Several management colleges of the state will take part in the fest. The event will conclude with the valedictory ceremony on Saturday February 6.
