Soldier hailing from Beltangady dies in UP due to heart attack

Beltangady, Jun 13: A soldier serving in the Indian Army died in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, after he suffered a heart attack.

The deceased soldier has been identified as Sandesh Shetty (34), a resident of Barya.

He had resumed duties last Monday after returning from vacation. He was deployed at a quarantine centre at Mathura. It is gathered that he suffered a heart attack there.

He was serving Indian Army for the last 14 years.
